I think most of the movies I've seen over the past year were 3D. Some of them were very good (Up), but I could have saved some moeny by seeing the 2D version. Still on the fence as to whether go see it in 3D or the cheaper 2D. We saw Planet 51 instead.

I liked that the 3D wasn't dispalyed with spears pointing toward the audience or objects flying off the screen; it added depth and made the environments seem more real. But the story itself reminded me a bit too much of "Dances with Wolves". We saw it in 3D, and I think that’s the only way to truly enjoy the film.
